Re: AF Super Seven Group Build!

With only Seven to go, weeks that is, I've started a WIP over in motorsports.
I'm going for a SCCA racer.

Re: AF Super Seven Group Build!

Guys: deadline is this week>> any chance to officially slip the date? I know isn't a contest but we eed to be "a bit" serious (somethime)

Re: AF Super Seven Group Build!

A deadline extension would indeed be good! Managed to spray paint the body on mine but there's no way I'll finish the rest in time as I don't have any spare time this week

Re: AF Super Seven Group Build!

An excellent idea! Perfect- why didn't we think of this before?? The 21/03 deadline was arbitrary from the beginning.

OK, it's official- the dealine for the Super 7 Group Build has slipped to 07/07/07.

2007 is actually a great year to celebrate the 7- it is in fact the 50th anniversary of Colin Chapman's creation of the design. 070707 seems a terrific time to celebrate it.

Re: AF Super Seven Group Build!

Hey,

count me in. I will finish the VTEC 7 before that date, but might show it not before that day ;-)

And...maybe I'll finish the other (crazy) build I started for this group build. Hehe.

Re: AF Super Seven Group Build!

Same here, Even before my one project is finished, I m already thinking of what to do if I really wanted to go nuts... makes one wonder...

Monstertruck? - too banal
Rocketfueled jetengined propulsion - close but not original enough
S7 limo - if topgear can do it, anybody can - but again, too normal
S7 pimpmobile - nah, too tacky...
S7 airplane - mayyyybe?

you understand my lack of good ideas, any over the top suggestions?

Ciao, oli

Make it a vindaloo and a tandori chicken instead of pizza and you're on!

Hot curry from a hot car....
