Re: I can't find if my is SI or DX

Carlos916,

All of the above information is wrong!

Here are the real differences:

An SI will have a fuel injected motor, a motorized sunroof, an aluminum valve cover, a rear wiper and a soft foam rear spolier.

A DX will have a carbureted motor and a stamped steel valve cover.

Since you have an '87 CRX (I looked in your profile) it could also be an HF model. An HF will have a carbureted motor, aluminum rear brake drums and a black plastic valve cover.

A glass sunroof and a plastic spoiler were options on the HF and DX models.

There are other differences but these are the most obvious, and over time some of the parts on your car may have been replaced with parts from other models.

Then it's either a DX or an HF, and someone added the spoiler.

All SI models came with a motorized sunroof and a rear wiper, there were no exceptions.
