Peloton,
the car does not bear any responsibility for the legal mess(es) it was involved in. Its previous owners do. As such, there is no restriction whatsoever on the car or its current owner.

This is a great thread. Thank you for sharing the pictures. Finally some pics of new cars, and these specimens are very droolworthy. The black on black looks soooo aggressive. Fantastic!

Re: Possible sighting of 2 McLaren F1's in the UK.

There were two cases against the Wieringa (Cherry) F1 and Ferrari. One was civil and the other was criminal. In the criminal case it was the US v. the 069 VIN. So the case was against the car.
Customs made a mess of both cases. Wieringa paid a $60K fine in the criminal case but almost all that has gone to storage costs that the feds have to pay. Under the final agreement both cars had to be shipped out and can never come back.
But as we all know, never doesn't apply if you are willing to break the law (not bend, that's different) and have plenty of money and a few NHTSA employees in your pocket. I don't make this up. It's all public information if you know where to look.
Georgous cars. It is 069, BTW. Besides the windshield the engine had a few problems such as a blown head gasket due to previous owner screwups. Nothing a few hundred thousand dollars can't fix.

Re: Possible sighting of 2 McLaren F1's in the UK.

if only we could get all the UK F1's together for one big photoshoot.

something I've remembered, wasn't there supposed to be a GTR, or at least a HDF car that was going to be painted white with black wheels? or did I just make that up?

069 is Awesome. I love the cars with the HDF Kits. This and Flemkes cars are probably the nicest.

Flemke's car? That's a standard roadcar with the ugly gold BBS wheels and a blue that looks terrible in most pictures (although I hear it's better looking in real life). Are you sure that's the car you meant, and not the electric blue one with the HDF that's in Colorado??

i think it looks well in this pic
but i wouldnt say its one of the best
almost looks like Volkswagens Jazz Blue, which of course is horrible

and 011 is one of the best looking (sick interior ) after 069 being in top place of the roadcars that is

Hello,

what a gorgeous thread !

It's rare to say "what a F...... pic"
So, I would like to know how was organised this photoshoot please. Perhaps, someone in contact with David Clark can help us...

Many thanks for these beautiful pics

Phil

Seemed like a chance encounter based on statements from both photographers - the cars just happened to be parked there as they were leaving a motorsports event at the Goodwood track.
