I divorced myself from that forum last year. The behavior is atrocious at times, the only thing keeping that place alive is some sort of daily scandal. The rocking chair crew is now waxing poetic about wanting a model of a Chrysler K car that was never produced

By golly I bet they get giddy over a bowl of oatmeal

Ye-eah.

I had no idea a Plymouth Reliant could ever inspire such longing.

But as for behavior, I'm scarcely an example myself...

just think of all the MPC Dodge Omni 024 kits you see with $5 price tags on it, there's a huge want for more early 80's Chrysler kits lol.

I don't think that Trumpeter made a bad decision on choosing something that vintage, but they should've chose something that never been tooled, like a Hurst Olds

BTW freakmech, I was at the Mid Atlantic NNL, but I was'nt there too long, I left at 12:30 becouse I had to get to my brothers baseball game in Woodbridge Virginia, about a two hour drive. you may have seen me, I was wearing a Dukes of Hazzard shirt

Small wheels are the wave of the future, my friend. Wave of the future. Everyone is going to be running to HLJ to get the undersized Fuji's in a year, I promise.

Re: Seen Trumpeter's pics of their new '78 Monte Carlo kit?

yeah i'm about tired of the donk bashing threads....I personally don't like them either but if someone want to do that to his/her car/model then that fine with me. Oh and the thing about the k car promo was funny to me...but these are the guys who the model kit manufacturers listen to...so you never know next year when all the rest of us want a new kit of the dodge challenger(the concept) they may acutally give us a dodge...........reliant! Oh and btw I think the trumpeter monte is cool, I'll get one as my budget allows and build it pro-touring style. I can only hope though that they will capitalize on the tooling and give us all a model from each of the different g-bodys sold, specifically a malibu and yes i'd like to see that grand am as well....

We can only hope that Trumpeter doesn't give up on this basic model and give us a few variants that aren't so "been there, done that".

And today's hot drama topic at HHMB is? That place never changes. Lunatics running the asylum as usual.
