Re: 1994 Chrysler LHS Remote Programming

You probably already figured this out, but in case you haven't here are the instructions:

The key fobs should be compatable for years 1993-1997. Make sure the FCC number on the back of the fob matches.

You will need to program all fobs you have at the same time.

To program:
1) Remove the center air duct bezel (the one above the radio)
2) You will find a black connector behind the bezel. This is the traction control switch connector. If you have traction control remove the connector from the switch.
3) Find pin 1 and 4 of the connector. pin 1 is ground pin 4 is keyless program.
the wire colors "should be black & green.
4) With a small wire, jump pins 1 & 4, the power door locks should cycle once when you jump the pins.
5) With jumper still in, press any button on the first fob, the locks should cycle again. Press any button on the second remote, the locks will cycle again. Repeat for 3rd if any and so on. I think the RKE is capable of supporting up to 4 fobs.
6) When you remove the jumper programming is complete.

Hope this helps.

Re: 1994 Chrysler LHS Remote Programming

My 96 LHS didn't have that green wire going to the Traction Control Switch, there was only 3 wires going to it instead of 4 so I couldn't program a second remote for the car on my own. My Son works at a dodge dealership so when I had the Floor Shifter Recall done I had him reprogram both Remotes for me with their Scan Tool.
