Heads up ya'll, this IS a model.

Built this one from a Lindberg Petty kit and a set of Fred Cady decals. It is a model of a car driven by the relative of a friend of mine back in '64. Jimmy came in second in one of the qualifiers for the Daytona 500 and ran pretty good during the year but was killed late in the season, tire testing at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He had a custom tag on the front of his car that read, "Car 54, where are you?" That referred to a popular TV show of the time about two cops named Toody and Muldoon that got in all kinds of funny situations every week. I almost deleted this photo because it wasn't very good, not really in focus and the color wasn't very good but I decided to do the motion blur and add some lettering to camoflage some of the shortcomings. It didn't turn out too bad, did it?

Looks great, awesome picture.

Following up from your last thread, I would love to see a couple of good res pictures of your models on the workbench, it would give your more 'artistic' pictures better context. Just my 0.02

Very nice - these old Nascars must have been awesome to watch in their day. Maybe I'll dig out my Johan Superbird and have a go.

Wow, you can practically hear it in that photo. Killer work and killer photo manipulation.
