1960 Mazda R360

Two Cylinder 4 stroke "V" 16 HP engine. Built OOB from an old 1/32 scale LS kit. It is smaller than some 1/43 scale models. No chrome, so Bare-Metal and Alclad II make up for that. So ugly it's kinda cute... - Mark

It's listed as German AF Light Blue (Sky), but it is as warm of a blue as I've ever seen, it has a lot of greenish gray in it. I used a Tamiya paint. It is similar to the color in the box art painting... - Mark

Yes, it actually says R360 Coupe on the sides, just behind the doors on the belt line. But the washed out silver decals are hard to see, especially in my out of focus shot that would show it best... - Mark

Hey that's a nice model. I have one waiting for some custom ideas... This series of kits is made now by ARII and they even come with dioramas. They also make some others that are a bit more accurrate and detailed like the Skylines and some Porsches. I'm planning on building mine like a street rod or a modern tuner style. Maybe I'll post some pictures later.
Bye.

Cute little buggy. Nice work! I like that pale mint green color on it.

Cute little bugger. Makes a Miata look like a gargantuan beast .

My old rotorhead best friend from high school built every Mazda he could get his hands on, and built this and the Carol from the series. Think the 360 looks small? Put it next to the 1/20 scale Entex/Bandai kits...he's got most of them...R100, RX2/3/4/5(Cosmo), Cosmo Sport. These little models do look like 1/43rds.
