I have never seen the Maisto 1:24 Cobra, and they don't have it listed on their website......If anyone sees one PLEASE PLEASE let me know!!!!!
I should be getting a digital camera this weekend, then I'll actually be able to put up more pics for you guys. So far I've been struggling with 35mm and not much of a macro lens. The Lightning and Cobra are both on hold until next semester...I'll resume work sometime in the middle of January. I have to finish the 90 Mustang before the 9th of Dec, after that I have finals, then I come home, and I don't have anywhere to work on models here and I don't want to pack everything up. I'll probably spend all of Christmas break working on Will's 1:1 car, trying to get it running. It's unfortunate, I wanted to enter this one (the 04) in the model of the year contest, looks like it won't make it! Oh well. Next year... |

Re: PROGRESS Project '04 Cobra
I just went to the website too and didnt see it. But they also do not have listed on their website, but I know for sure they are made: 1948 ford f-100, the new beetle (hard top), a Shinoda cobra mustang, and the street tuners, impreza, focus, acura, and one other one. (All I can remember off the top o my head) I will see if I can pickup one of the cobra stangs.

Re: PROGRESS Project '04 Cobra
Ok I have a maisto catalog and thumbed through it. There is an Assembly Line Mustang Cobra in 1/24th scale. Except its a '99 So that doesnt help you any. Sorry for my useless info.

The kit I'm using is a 99 Cobra, so the wheels are the same. I still don't know what wheels to use for this one or the Lightning.

I decided this one is going to be a "curbside," so I went ahead and glued the hood down. Here's what I have so far:
The model on the left is a stock-built 99 Cobra, the model on the right is the '03-'04 Cobra I'm building now: Here's the side scoop: A comparison: I still have no clue which wheels to use, I'd like to use either of these if I can find something like them in 1:24/1:25 scale: or Anybody know of anything I could use? |

Re: PROGRESS Project '04 Cobra
i can't seem to find them right now but it seems like the revell civic kit came with similar wheels to those on the left. this is looking to be a killer build. glad to see you still working on this one
