Finished : CWest Skyline GT-R (R34)

Can't remember the last time I started a completed thread. My first finished project of 2005 after 4 months into the year. I forced myself to finish this in time for today's Austin IPMS show. Placed second, should have been first (judge bias).

Anyway. the kit is Aoshima's CWest Skyline GT-R (R34). Wheels are 19" Volk Racing CE28N's sprayed Alclad Chrome. Color is Tamiya Pearl Yellow over Tamiya Silver Leaf basecoat. Interior done in yellow and black (hard to see in pics). Decals from the kit, spares box, and Laubak decals.

Pics are from the show. More later. Model car building will go on a mini-hold as I now have to build a Warhammer 40K army.

P.S. - Congrats to hirofkd who took the Best Automotive award for his Jaquar E-Type at the show. He was getting compliments on it all day.
