Re: Progress - Fujimi Nissan SilEighty

Looks good so far.

You're missing a character on the left side of your license plate. There's supposed to be a hiragana prefix before the numbers.

Thanks for the tip on the plates. I'll pick through my spare decal box. I've seen those symbols before.

Looking pretty good so far. Dashboard looks real good, though the gauges could be a little bit smaller.

Forget that last bit. I replied before I saw the other pic of the interior further down the page . The interior still looks pretty sweet though

Not sure. Probably some kind of registration sticker. Just followed what the decal placement page said.

Re: Progress - Fujimi Nissan SilEighty

If it's like the Tamiya kit, it's supposed to be a representation of the heads-up display for the speedo. You can see the "projector" molded into that corner of the dash...

However, I wouldn't imagine it'd be that bright, not would it be on when the car was still, and certainly not displaying "55" like that one looks like, and like it does on the Tamiya kit...

This particular kit is OOP, but Fujimi did re-release the late Sileighty version with the kouki lights and stuff as part of their Tohge series.

Small update. The car is pretty much done, just some finishing touches and pics. Busy playing GTA:SA, so not much modeling getting done right now.
