Yeah, those V8s don't spool up until around 6,000 RPMs.

ive raced two tiburons both gts and i killed and i mean killed them it wasnt even close.

My friend has an '04 Tiburon Tuscani and I'm sorry to say that it was a waste of his 30ish thousand dollars (CDN). It is not very fast in the straights, it doesnt handle well at all and it has a generally cheap feel to it. He is very dissapointed in it and is already consdidering selling it off while its still fairly new to cut his losses.

I dont know how a '99 gt compares to the '04 Tuscani but I doubt they have gotten worse instead of better.

Ive heard that all Korean cars handle and drive like five year old Japanese ones. Never raced one, teh only person I know who has one doesn't race. Also, its always been my opinion that a FWD car (until, of course, you get to the pro tunner level, or things like JGTC) doesn't go fast enough or accelerate hard enough to even require downforce inducing wings...
