I was just wondering if anyone raced in or against a Hyundai Tiburon GT V6. I just want to know what the experience is like.

Yea I got in a race with one when I first got my car, they're pretty fast, he had me right off the line but I kept up with him after that.

Wrong.

You do know that Ford Escort ZX2's were high 15-second cars stock, right? As opposed to your Mustang V6 auto, which is a low 16-second car. Well...maybe high-15's too. Maybe.

Tiburons run a 15.6 in the 1/4.
As for the ZX2...A big improvement occured in 1998

1997 ZX2: 0-60 = 8.3, 1/4 = 16.3
1998 ZX2: 0-60 = 7.4, 1/4 = 15.7

Nah. They just had more optimal driver and/or conditions for the second test. Nothing was changed through those two years on that car, mechanics-wise.

A good example is my car, a 1992 Sentra SE-R. 1992's were tested, and rated at 16.1 in 1992. Then in 1993, they suddenly started driving the car to 15.6-15.8 quarter-mile times...yet, my personal, 1992 car has run a best of 15-flat with a generic cone filter, and advanced timing as my only "mods"...well, I guess there's the "driver mod" too.

Thanks, most people don't give the zx2 enough credit, I can get a run of 15.9 this past summer at the track. As for the wing having to much drag, well it's a big help when taking corners, i like auto cross slightly more then drag, plus at high speed the hydraulics tilt it back for less drag.

Sorry dude but there is no way that you are going fast enough on an Auto x course to get any help from that spoiler. I can not even believe that you said that. And also at higher speeds if it tilts back on it's own then it is not providing any downforce or very little. It would need to be fixed to transfer the force that is being put on it. Also you are still getting drag from it b/c if it is being held back in a position then there is a drag from the wind holding in that position, it might not be alot but it is still some and you are not benifiting any from that thing.
