Re: 94-95 integra ls vs. 94-95 toyota celica GT

Ok let me rephrase the question, name on SOHC motor that is in the same size car that is superior to the B18A/B. Ther motors listed are like comparing apples to oranges. Those motors have more power and tq but are slow as hell in the vehicle they came in. They will be very hard to swap in a smaller car say civic, integra etc than the B series motors. The aftermarket for those motors might be 20% of what the b18A/B motors have.

A stupid 1.8???? are you forgetting about the b18c1, and 5. They are both 1.8L. Are you saying those are stupid motors? Ok now boost the h22 on stock internals, and boost the b18b. Now which motor is better now? Another reason to get a 94-01 teg, over a 88-91 si. The 88-01 prelude is ugly!!!! And don't forget about the gsr and type R. You thing those are faster than the prelude? yes! I know that the discussion was not including the dohc vtec motors but since you had to go and bad mouth the 1.8 which includes those motors, they are fair game. And he is running an ls and putting down those times.

WHAT 88-01 PRELUDE IS UGLY. I'd take a 4th gen prelude over a teg any day!
