Angry 3rd Gear Grinding on Upshift

Ok, has anyone in here had this problem, well my tranny is not letting me upshift into 3rd gear without grinding!!!, If I hold the clutch in for a little longer it wont grind, thus letting the gears wind down. But if I try to shift fast it grinds but doesnt do it when i down shift. Anyone have an Idea what this might be and has this happened to you and how much is it to fix?

Re: 3rd Gear Grinding on Upshift

This does sound like a bad synchro, how many miles are on the car??
you might want to get this checked out or you could lose third gear all together. take it easy till you get it checked out. peace

Yes I would get it checked too.
It could get worse if it doesn't get fixed.

Bummer...
You wrecked your teg.
NO DRINKING AND DRIVING!
Hmm... Your insurance payed for most of the damaged caused to the parked car I hope?
Know what?
I'm going to wait for the RSX Type R to come out here.
It looks pretty sweet.
Especially on the hood... But I'm not to sure if the pic I saw was a modded RSX Type R with a ported and polished front.
So what car are you getting next?

The RSX sucks. The old Integra is way better than that. Matter fact, the Integra Type R is faster than the RSX type R S or whatever and looks better. If I was you I would track down that Type R Integra, they did not make many of them and it will be a collectors Item. I am thinking of trying my best to get a S2000. If not , I might track down a Type R integra yellow. I love that car.

What about the new RSX Type R?
Is that better than the Integra Type R?
*DAMNIT! INTEGRA TYPE Rs ARE SO HARD TO FIND!
Can't find one in my area.
Still looking...
