Question Mercedes CLK-GTR or McLaren F1

Which one would you say is the better of the two, performance and style wise? Hard question, huh!

hahaha mind my name lol, but personally after a good research i find the GTR to be my favorite car......anyways the McLaren is too over rated i mean i love the car and all, but everyone talks about it, i would rather go with the under rated CLK GTR.

hehe, good choice, even though the CLK GTR is so rare that it's probably to $1,500,000 or something. But other than the extremely high price (which is probably worth it), I still think that the choice is hard and would have to say "undecided". lol

For the kind of car id expect a totally uncompromised race car. Thats what you get with the CLK-GTR, its a race car. And i love it.

I'd have to Mclaren f1 just cause i don't like how the clk is so long. I dont like cars with a long back just cause I always have a weird feeling that they kick out easier. The mclaren is much lighter and i wouldn't worry (AS) much about denting it rather then the clk-gtr. The clk-gtr is way better looking though as far as standard supercars go. If there waz a really hard choice it would be the (Mclaren F1 LM) or the (Clk-Gtr Supersport). I'd pick the Mclaren f1 LM over all.

Re: Mercedes CLK-GTR or McLaren F1

are we talking about the racing cars or the road cars?

anyway i would have to go for the CLK GTR, no question!..The Mclaren is a road car through and through but the CLK GTR is a racer with a tax disk. Its as low as you like a luvly 612bhp engine, 200mph limited (...lol..why bother limiting a car at 200mph)...does any1 know how much the thing weighs. Im thinking in between 1300kg and 1500kg cause although the chassis, engine etc is very light, it does have Air Con, air bags, cd player so it all adds up!

just had to post this image, realy does show the elagant yet aggrsive shape of the car!..good racing history as well!!

The clk-gtr supersport looks better in my opinion. But the F1 Lm is the best lookin of all.

i prefer the engine out put of the supersport but i prefer the colour of the other GTR...no doubting that the mclaren lm would be the clk gtr road car in temrs of straightline speed and possibly round the track but i love the subtleness of the GTR, you wouldnt realy expect the thing to be capable of 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and over 200mph (if the limiter was not there)...i bet the thing is appreciating like there is no tomorrow!

subtleness of the GTR???? Are you kidding me? You're right i wouldnt expect it do do 0-60 in 3.8 secs, i would expect it to take off and fly from LA to Boston in 5 hours! lol No but in all reality, it looks like a supercar, everything about it. Supercars=Fast=why i didnt understand how it was subtle looking.
