vtec

I have a question. My Vtec kicks in at 6 grand, and is killed by the rev limiter at 7. The Vtec doesnt pull nearly as hard as a b16. I started to check the vtec soleniod, and found that the blue/black wire doesnt have 12 volts from the PCM. Any ideas???

Re: vtec

GSR has a 2 stage vtec, The first should kick in at around 4500, and the second at a little over 6000. But your rev limit shouldn't cut fuel till about 85000. Even though the red line is at 8100, mine cuts at about 8400-8500. Check your ecu like mentioned above.
