Well actually sunlight is not enough, you has to have it exposed in directly light for it to shine....it's still dark though.....

Yes, I made the "F1 sticker" on the case myself with some photo paper and paint in windows.

The case I bought in Germany, I can provide the addressto people who want's it if they mail me.
I'm sure adwertising arent allowed here uhhh

In case anyone is interested, I made the overhead shot of Thorst's 1/12th scale collection clickable in this post for the hi-res image he sent me.

The other two hi-res version of the images in that post were basically cropped down rather than resized to make the image I posted, so you're really not missing out on anything but his huge TV that was in the background.

Are you guys going to try and out do each other now??

From mclarenmaniac:

Clickable as usual

I still have more photos that Thorst sent me of some of his 1/18th scale collection to post. His collection - and so far he only sent me a photo of half of it - is incredible!!

he..he..

No, I'm fairly confident we were quite aware over eachothers collections as we go way back. I mention earlier in this tread that MM has a similar collection.
Mclarenmaniac is the only one I know who has (like me) ALOT of these 1.12's.
There should be quite many out there who have all six colors, but I've not seen many private collections with multiple of each model!
I have 3 silver, 3 drksilver, 3 blue, 2 green, 2 yellow and 2 red's. (1:12)
However, there's some seriously "heavy weighters" in Germany
who can possily show collections way beyound common belief

The picture I posted earlier showd my "perfect" 1:12 collection.
All of these comes in perfect boxes with NO flaws!

I have not bought the 1:12 Ferraris though...
I'm actually only collecting 1:18 exept for the McLaren which I collect in all scales.

Well Mclarenmaniac, it's time we go head on with the 1:18, 1:43, 1:64 6& 1:87's then...

Well it's been a good show so far...

Here is the picture Thorst sent me of half of his UT 1/18th scale collection. I was floored, did I mention that yet?

Now we know where all those second edition LMs ^^^^^ are hiding.

...and here's a photo he sent of three custom GTR/LMs he has made. He told me he has a bunch more of these too.

Photos are clickable...

thanks for all you guys blessing, yea i will try my best to keep my gf as long as i can

about my doors, one of them can open on its own well, but the other one can easily fall close. if play carefully it COULD stand like that barely.
and no, i do not think i will open my model and try to fix that!!!

also thanks for much to Peloton and Thorst for sharing your collections.
they are just AWESOME,
for now 1 model will do for me, maybe in future, i will try to have a collection too,

to Thorst,(and others) do u have any idea i can get that display case in the states? that's defintely a must have for the 1/12 Mclaren models.... i just like to put it out instead of letting it sleeping in the box, that's too mean to the model

thanks to all again. xanaboy

Just to clarify, none of those are my collection. My picture would be a lot smaller.

As for cases, AutoArt makes a nice 1/12th display case:

You can look around for a better price, but most places I have seen sell it for that same price. I think there is one out there with a carbon fiber base that sells for about $20 more which is also made by AutoArt.
