Got this kit 25+ yrs ago, built the entire engine and suspension. What a work of art. Everything seem to fit together perfectly. 575+ parts. The only thing I would replace would be the kit's black rubber "wires", which need to be painted red. They should be replaced with real red wires. My skills weren't any good (paint brushed it). Considered rebuilt recently and after looking at it decided I didn't want to spend the time, even if it was salvageable. So recently I bought the Doyusha kit which is the exact same kit. I believe Doyusha bought out Otaki. Couldn't tell you about the body as I didn't get that far. Even after all these years one of my top 5 favorite kits ever. And the headlights work also.

Re: otaki 1/12 Lambo?
I built one ages ago and from what I can remember, it was a great kit. Working suspension, springs, steering, doors, etc. Too bad the body warped in my dad's trunk from the heat. I don't remember what happened to the rest of the kit.
