im gona be repacing the trans myself. what yrs transmission are universal for the 96 grand caravan. btw this is gonna be the 4th one put in it

This may be the trany you are lookjing for if not email the to see if he has it. There other on ebay that might have it as well you should check and see.

Ok they started making the A604/41TE back in 89 and the rebuild kits are for 89 to 03 so the internal parts are the same, So are the cases the same ?? and I think in 91 they went with a 24 spline 10.75 inch torque converter and before that it was 10 inch I think but they where all 24 spline ....

And some where I hear there was one that had a cut thru the caseing to allow for a collant line to pass thur it ?? nothing you can't install or remove with a welder/cutting torch ....

Don't know if this helps but I to have to replace the transmission since I put the diff pin thur the case and spyder gear thur the transmission ... So if you find out for sure let me know ...

And the A604/41TE was used in alot of dodges FWD cars and vans from 89 onward.... might be worth a trip to the local wrecking yard and just take a look at them ....
