exhaust manifold

Hi,

I have a '97 Civic EX (2 dr manual). I just brought it to the shop, and the mechanic told me that I need an exhaust manifold (I noticed that the car was getting loud expecially near the engine). He told me that the job would cost $410 including labor (I believe it was 1.5 hrs labor).

Anyway, from that little information, anybody know exactly what part I need? I'd like to find the part for a better price and bring it to him, but I can't quite tell from the parts' sites what I need.

You need an exhaust manifold. $50-$100 used. $20 for new gasket. Easy to install yourself.

go the the junk yard and pull yourself an exhaust manifold for 30-50 bucks and it just bolts on and off easy labor do it yourself too...the shop is gonna rip you for all your money never go there again!!!
