Hey, I'm the origanal Eckoman here...lol....he just joined...lol... I've been Eckoman on AF since May 2003, and gone by Eckoman other places long before that...hmm...maybe I have a fan club out there and I didn't know it...

BTW, I'm glad to here you canned the type-r sticker...also, did you paint the kit in your picture yet? It's unpainted, only primered in the pic in your sig. Your going to have to have them work on the primer again before you paint it, at the very least spray another guide coat, sand it and spray primer sealer it again...just curious, why didn't you just have it painted and primered at the same time? Driving around with just primer isn't the greatest idea in the world.

Re: newbie with a 98 EX

the place i bought it from said they would primer it for free instead of the ugly black color it was... i figured the primer would match more to the body for a while until i have enough to get the paint done.. if all goes well it should be painted within the next week or 2

Hey, I actually started going by this name log before AF, lol. I decided on it because I used to wear a boatload of Ecko clothing, so I was like a walking "eckoman." The pdx part came about because I am from portland, and pdx=portland. HAHAHA, that's funny though, I never seen anyone with a name even cloth to mine, that's why I was like...hmmm....I'll have to poke a little fun at him, lol.

Re: newbie with a 98 EX

Quick note about stickers, I saw a v6 chevy silverado with a mercedes bumper tag, a hemi badge, v-tec badge, and a side sticker that says "Nascar Formula 1 Racer"...I've learned not to rag on poorly stickered cars since. It's pointless...there are odd people out there, and they're breeding.

Speaking of sticker and badges, this ones great...there's this crappy looking white hatch near my house that this girl drives. So a few days ago, I am on the road and I pass it, and then I see it....she has a BMW logo on the hood and hatch...and I can tell it's a stock motor (not bashing sotckers, just an observation). I mean, okay...BMW logos shouldn't go on a non-beamer, but that was just too much. She obviously thinks she is being cool...if she only knew...maybe she knows the Mercedes Hemi powered Vtec Silverodo guy.

Aww, the stupid things people do...That reminds me, you know how people used to steel the hood ornement emblems off of Merecdes-Benzs'? An insurence agent I knew once told me this lady got sick of here emblem being ripped off, so she had the edges sharpened to a knife like edge. Anyways, you can guess what happened the next time someone tired to steel the emblem. That would suck though to accidently grab it while cleaning the car.
