Re: newbie with a 98 EX

Painting stuff is always cool. Highlight your interior pieces, vents, gauge bezel, door handles, speaker covers, etc. You can reupholester door panels with some vinyl or something. You color the housing for your headlights (see thread in this forum). And you can flip flop your trunk (just google "flip flop trunk" and you should find something). All that is pretty cheap, less than $75 total. As far as go, i'm pretty sure you need some cash to do something. Intake/Header/Exhaust (I/H/E) is what most people start with as far as performance mods.

if your going interior first...hmm.. everyones different and stuff.. but i started with the sound system... then from there i am plannig out the color scheme.. what guages im going to have and where... swap out the seats refabricate the doors and stuff.. custumized trunk using plexiglass instead of wood... i dont know.. theres so many ways to do it that everyone will either agree with you or have different ways... especially what brand to buy.. its all about CUSTOMIZATION BABY!!! haha

Re: newbie with a 98 EX

You can claim your Civic as a Type-R once you've installed altezzas. Check your rulebook, T!mmy.
