I've built Mika Hakkinen's Arctic Lapland Rally car (its in my sig and the AFMOTY comp). Only silver part I painted was the roof, after the original decal was scratched. I used Tamiya TS-17 Gloss Aluminum. Painting the silver will be tricky, not so much the silver itself, but the thin black line between it and the red.

Your progress is looking great so far Richie. Not long till the car makes it's debut on the 2004 Monte Carlo Rally.

Your talent is unquestionable, you're very good. Looks to be an intersting project.

IMO, that the car is sooo ugly. It's too early to tell if the new flared fenders and back glass wing will benefit DSM, it sure is ugly.

Yes I will be when I work out the new lenses. I also need to narrow the bottom rear behind the wheel arch by a couple of millimeters on each side. To do that i will have to remove a large section, norrow it, graft it back in and tidy.
