Wheel hop like none other!!

about a month ago i was ran off the road in my 97 se 5sp and hit a curb with my right front wheel. her insurance put a new spindle, wheel bearing, tie rod ends, new wheel, and 1 new strut (why just one, i dont know). when i would spin my tires my wheels hopped and wouldnt just spin. thinking my struts were bad and seeing as i had $550 extra insurance dollars, i put on some AGX's and progress springs but my wheels still hop violently!!! HELP ME PLEASE!!!
Any idea what else could be causing that? or do i just suck at driving (which i doubt )

Re: Wheel hop like none other!!

my 95 5 speed used to wheel hop like a mofo. i think it's just how our cars are. it's hard enough to make your radar detector bang of the windshield right? no limited slip + spinning tires=wheel hop

u may need to replace ur lower control arm. u cant really tell if it is bent. i had a similiar proble, but my car wouldnot allign properly. is ur allignment alright, or is it pulling. i think there is a lower and upper control arm. try that.

Re: Wheel hop like none other!!

i have problems with my alignment, it veers left... i got an alignment several times but it's still messed up.... depending on road conditions the wheel might be straight therefore my car goes straight but like on angle roads or on straights the wheel is tilted.... and it feels that my turns are not as responsive..... what can cause a bad alignment besides installing new lower springs?
