I have listed very precise consequences to the Swinging Lifestyle in this thread and they are true. If you want to discount them, then that is up to you. As for the 'outdated book' --- its only 'outdated' to those who dont want any moral foundation and ethics to live by so they can do whatever they want in life. And its had a diminished meaning to this culture because this culture puts oneself on the throne instead of Gods rightful place. ANd that is your choice as well, but it to, comes with consequences. You are all young people...as you go thru life and break absolute moral laws , try to take note of the ramifications to your actions ; youll see that they bring hurt, destruction, and regret . God gave us absolute moral laws to obey so we could avoid the consequences. Thank you. Thats all . I wont be contributing to this thread anymore. , as ive said all i can.

I tend to agree with Dave on some points. Swinging is a distructive lifestyle. The people who do indulge in this lifestyle do it for a reason. I'm sure there are many reasons they can think of doing it.

A)They might say they are bored with sex with just one partner or the same partner all the time. Which is saying they are bored with or unhappy with their spouse.

B) They might say they just want to get a little more excitement back in their bedroom. Which is saying they are bored with or unhappy with their spouse.

These are just a couple reasons but I'm sure there are others. In the end they are saying they are unhappy with who they are married to and want to try something different. There is something very wrong in a marriage if you are that unhappy and want to try someone different. Swinging isn't going to make your marriage better.

As for those who are not in that swinging lifestyle because you aren't married and you think that sex is simply about pleasure or having something to do with whoever then I guarentee you are going to have a serious problem when or if you ever decide to get married. It may not show up immediately but it will show up.

This is just my opinion but sex should never be considered as just a casual act. It should only be between 2 people who are commited to each other for life. Then it becomes much more than just a way to get off or pass time. That's a guarantee. I speak from experience.

THough i'm not religious at all, I pretty much agree with what Dave is saying. It's moral degridation. Heck, I like sex as much as the next guy, but i'm not aobut to do it with someone i just met 2 hours ago, whose history i don't know at all. That's just asking for trouble. I think sex should be between 2 people that are together. Not neccisarily married, but christ, this world just seems to be turning into a giant orgy.

ME: What makes 'being together' okay to have sex ?? Can u think of any reasons why it might be wrong to do even though youre together with someone ? And, if its wrong to have sex with someone you met 2 hours ago...when IS IT right to have sex with someone ?? (8 hours, 5 days, 6 months, or a year ???)

It all depends, Its up to the Persons, I mean No one can impose when a grown individual should have sex, In some cultures it is very common to have sex with someone after you just met them
