Talking Affection Estima Progress

Affection estima. Is a kit that my customer ask me to build for him in 3 weeks time, so I have to hurry.

Kit used: Carbon Zeus Estima by Fujimi

As for the real Affection Estima look like these:

Epoxy Putty used to do the out look of the body kit. As for Wheels, the customer still not decided to use which, so I have to leave it for him.

The putty look very puffy but will sand down in a day.

Day1:

Day2:

I thought this is a easy project for me, but it's not. There are lots of sanding and carving needed. and worst thing is I under-charge that guy... T_T

Yesterday... 03/03/04, I done these up, but still lots to putty and shape again. I know there are some people will not believe I could did that fast job, but is true, I did it. I spend 8 hours daily to complete every stage.

Most of the bigger shape are carved out. The hardest are the front fog lamp hole. There are some pencil line on it, is getting ready for the next day putty work.

Today in SG date: 04/03/04

Another 8 hours again. I think after this... my eyes really need a long break...

I primed the the body and the side mirror to see the mistake and the uneven of the body. Everything looks good to me... Now I feel like not selling to that customer. <_<

Tomorrow (05/03/04) will start on the fog lamp eye lit, the lower is done and also to finish sanding the the rear spoiler.
Then I be starting to build the interior and the lowdown in these few days. Hopefully can complete it by end of the month.
Side mirror...only one side, the other one had to re-putty again because I cut the wrong curve... T_T

Holy crap! That's one complex bodykit. And you're doing this in 3 weeks!?! Looks real nice. Color?

I like the progress pics show the forming of the putty/kit. Very informative.
