93. grand am 2.3 ohc hard to start

Help. MY 93 Grand am 2.3 ohc is hard to get started. I can get it started sometimes if I feather the gas while cranking but this is tricky and doesn't always work. Once I get going down the road it runs ok. It just started this problem at the gas station after fueling. Before that it would start right up. My check engine light is not coming on at this time . I put some fuel tratment in and changed the plugs too. but still the same stuff.
