Q about KA24DE TURBO

i'm having some trouble here; i cant find a turbo kit for a 91-93 240SX with the KA20DE! ive spent at least the last hour or so looking for one, or even damn parts to peace one 2geather... but no luck. i know someone out there has a link to place that sells parts for it (if you have a link to a manifold that would help the most) plz gimme some links to places that sell this kit. also, anyone know for sure if the bolt patterns on the SR20DET and the KA24DE exhaust manafolds are the same/diff (i mean will a SR mani bolt to a KA block w/o mods?)? ...im sure there diff though lol.

also, i found assloads of the kits for the 96-98 car. whats the difference?! they use more or less the same motor right? ...so... lets say i get an ECU from a S14 and use it in my S13... would that work? i am sure there are some differences in the emission controlls for the cars, but will that have an enormus effect the kit made for a 96-98 being used in a 91-93 --i dont think anyone is quilifyed to ans that lol. ..oh, its a greddy kit BTW with the E-manage.

do not come back and tell me to just go w/ the Sr20. i dont give a shit about drift, i am more interested in real track use and to dog the shit out of it on weekends. the KA motors are cheep as shit so WHEN i blow it i only need another 400 or so to put a new one in it. and if i wanna do drift i will find a cam with a profile suited for drift.

its probably because theres no such engine as the "ka20de"...

seriously though, fuck greddy. try f-max(my personal favorite), n-sport, realnissan or xs engineering. they all have better kits than the greddy one.

i dont believe that their is a kit for the 91-93 240sx, your best bet is to buy one of hte kits that thelogikal1 suggested and make it fit on your car, it shouldn't be hard, you might jus need to extend or shorten some lines.. i say go with the realnissan kit..

beh, i ment KA24 lol. just typeing the 2 diff. motors i got messed up. anyway- i'm sure that the essental parts of the kits for the 96+ 240s will fit the car, i am much more worried about a piggyback sys working with the ECU on a 91-93. anyone know were i could find the piggyback or remapped ECU for boost on one of the older 240s?

whats wrong with greddy???? 20g turbo is pretty damn good. My friend had an 18g and it made some major power when tuned right. Thats all i have seen of greddy though with my own eyes. Greddy kit looks hot to me but i havent heard to much about it.....does it have probs or anything?????

Ive heard greddy is crap especially the maifold people have alot of trouble getting them to fit and just little problems that i havent heard people having with the other namebrands.But thats just what ive seen around on the forums on another website.

i hate to bust your bubble on the greddy dissing but their turbos are bad ass. they last a long time, very durable and flow alot better compared to other brands..
