some questions about ka24de-t

Hi I was wondering how involved it is to really put some a$$ punding boost breathing power to the ground with a kA motor and weather it was worth doing it in the long run or just to swap out the sr20 and build that up.......... It seems like every one has mixed opinions on which one is the best for serious boost......... just wonderin what you guys think...... oh and one other question.... where the heck can i get a tunning friendly programable fuel computer for a K motor.... or and SR for that matter...... any way any input would be most helpful......

Re: some questions about ka24de-t

When trying to put serious power to the ground with any engine, it's going to be pretty involved.

There are a ton of SR vs. KA threads on the internet. Everybody has their own opinion so that's something you'll have to decide for yourself.

For tuning, if you are looking for around 350 hp or less, then you can get something like the JWT ecu and then maybe an SAFC to fine tune the JWT a little more. IMO, I'd always get a complete ems because you are going to have complete control over anything and everything that goes on in your engine. You will pay quite a bit more for the stand alone system, but it will be worth it in the end. The stand alone though won't be tuning friendly like the SAFC, unless if you know what your doing.
