Stocks

Hello,
I am relatively new to this forum. I am interested in investing in stocks online. What site do you guys use for online stocks? What would you recommend? As of now, I am just looking for a one time investment in an individual stock...to see how I do, I guess.
Thanks for the help

For one of my stocks I use Scottrade.(wwww.scottrade.com) They have low costs and have an excellent reputation. The other stocks I have were invested through Charles Swabb i believe. My dad keeps track of those for me though.

Scottrade! It’s the best online deal you’ll find for handling

A few months back I suggested Netopia (NTPA) as a strong buy at $2.00. It hit 15.99 yesterday. Brought in a tidy sum. I’ve also suggested capitol bankcorp (CBC) at $20 a year ago and its been over 28 but I expect it to crest thirty before I sell.

IBM has been and will stay as a strong buy. It’s a steeper price, but a rock solid investment for long term.

Wow, bought at 2 and sold at almost 16, that's a really nice return. I bought Dynegy back in January(wow time flies) at $1.70 and I'm hoping it'll get up to about $10 before I sell, but it seems to get around $5 and then drops back to 3 and half. I also have GE and Exxon. Exxon is helping me pay for school. My parents worked there when i was born and invested for that reason. I plan to do the same.

Orangecuse, what stock or stocks do you plan to invest in?
