and also, i already told you, 13.5 was at PA. I since moved to VA. And well frankly, when i said 12's, thats a rough estimate. (Im saying 12's since Lightnigs run 12's)

Funny how these things are never available when you need to prove something, huh?

So lets see...your car does the 1/4 mile 1 second slower than Ferrari's allmighty Enzo? Judging by my July issue of Road & Track, it clearly states the Enzo's 1/4 mile time as 11.1. Thats with 650 horsepower and a whole carbon fiber body and chassis. There is no way your heavy Camaro can do it in 12's. I'll believe it when I see some scans of the data. I'm not flaming you, I'm just stating a fact.

As for the 300ZX...its coming out good. Looks great without the wing.

no offence to anyone here but he may be telling the truth about his car,
my father just bought a 2000 camaro ss and it runs 13's so maybe he gets 12's lets not argue about it and accept that his camaro might run 12's. but this isent a drag racing forum it's a model car forum so lets try to get back on topic.

true, a camaro with those specifications could more than likely get into the mid thirteens, but you'd have to be a top driver to pull a high 12 sec pass in a stocker. did you at all change the tyres at any point?
oops, let's get back on topic then.

well, atleast someone is still talking about the main idea of the thread. And.. yeah.. Ferrari is over rated. I mean... well, if you want the facts..
Anyway, dont be a mag racer

LOOK HERE: http://www.ls1.com/qtrmile1.htm for example:

Brock, Joshua
Antivenom_WS6
1999 Trans Am WS6

M6 (3.42)
12.97

1.92 60’
108.30
313

Whisper Lid, Home Ported MAF, K&N Filter, Nitto DRs, Borla Catback, Hurst Shifter, EGR Mod

Only REAL mods it has are the borla's, filter, DR's, and whisper lid, and EGR. None of these are substantial HP additives. At most, the exhaust hadd 15-20Hp. And also the 3.42 as opposed to 3.25 rear end.

Now i know what your thinking: This car has mods so of corse its gonna be faster and whatnot. But remember, it depends on altitude. These RAM AIR's need LOTS of air to utalize their maximum potential. Im sure if you ran a stock SS in death vally it would be running LOW 12's-high 11's. WHY? Its way below sea level. Air IS NOT DENSE. (oh BTW, T56's come with Hursts OEM)

actually i am running a slighly more agressive tire the OEM Good Year Eagles. Im running Dayton Daytona's, they have less trad so the rubber makes more contact to asphalt. And VA Humidity helps them to stick and not spin.

oh, one more thing. SLP made a couple of beasts. They just happend to be really fast, really stock. One of those freak things. also they are known as FREAK CARS... some are making 345HP to the wheels.. and i remember someone saying they took a 35th Anniv SS and had it dyno'd at 380 RWHP?! I may be wrong, but im pretty sure thats what he said. I belive it was in a PAST HOT ROD Magizine..

It doesn't matter what the camaro runs. Let it be and get back on topic. Take this to PMs and shit if you have to. That's rediculous.

I do agree with Syndicate on the clear coats though. I think that a good smooth clear coat, some polish, and wax would really bring some color and depth to your metallics.
