What integra should I get?

I am just getting into the integras so I have some questions. I am thinking that I want to get a 3g integra and I want to turbo it. I have heard that the Ls is the way to go for doing a turbo. What do you think about that and have any of you done this. Is there a better year do go with?
Also what is the is the deal with puting a vtec head on the ls can any one fill me in on that or point me in the right direction. thanks

go with the ls because of the lower compression that the ls has over the gsr.....if not going to turbo then get a gsr no question.....it is versatile and quick and not to mention looks damn good

the ls an gsr look exactly the same from the out-side, except for the rims. so that really has nothing to do w/ his choice.

actually dont gsr's have fiberglass sideskirts and other lower models have plastic?

regardless if your turboing definatley go ls, make sure you buy a nice strong block that doesnt have a lot of internal mods(that will increase your CR)

Its more of what the GSR represents probly. Just knowing that it has that engine in there.(maybe) The rims do look a little nicer, especially compared to the 14s, and all GSRs have spoilers and the side mirrors are painted. But if a GSR and LS/GS/SE are driving side by side with the spoilers, the DOHC VTEC emblem is the only difference you'll see.

I was wondering if putting a h22 in an integra if there is a lot of power that can be made there over a gsr. What do you guess think of that for the money and for that speed? what are people running with a h22? thanks

for the money u'd spend on swapping the H22 (approx. $4500) into there...u could build/turbo ur motor (not a lot, but enough to run 12's w/ a gsr, compared to 14's for the stock h22.)
