Targa Top

I want to put a targa top on my 93' 240sx coupe. I have searched the net for a company that sells kits but of course found none. I think I can do It myself but I would rather have a kit. If anyone knows of a company that sells kits or If anyone has done this themselves please write back and let me know. Thanx

I would advise against this because you will cause more flex in the body by doing this.

definitely not a good idea if you value the handling capabilities of your car....unless of course you plan on reinforcing the body with a roll cage/bar.

I don't think Nissans look good with a targa top. Targas look great on Toyotas though

thanx guys/girls, I do love the handling so I'll keep that in mind but in the meantime let me check out this kit ($$$) and then I'll decide.

Dude settle down, milwaukee gave their reciprocating saw the name Sawzall, and it stuck in general for all recip saws.

Let me give you some text book answers.
"give me a fucking kleenex," said Ralph
"No, because it is called a fucking tissue!" retorted Dayna

OR
"I would like a Formica Counter-top in my kitchen," said Ralph
"Waaa It is called a fucking laminate counter-top!!!!" screamed Dayna

"May i have a coke?" Asked Ralph.
"Gulp, no you may not because it is a fucking carbonated beverage, or cola, or soda (for you crazy easterners), remarked Dayna.

We could go on a completely different tangent and talk about how people from OZ, NZ etc have all kinds of fucked up names for common stupid shit, like pants/nickers.... Case of beer/slab of piss

Getting back to the subject,
Um, no!

ummm... there are other threads about this with information in them from not too long ago, I know because I started the thread about 2 months ago, if you were to look before asking you wouldn't need to ask, plus the other thread gave some info

this doesn't seem very informative except for people saying you'll lose stability, this is true, I'd recommend just going with T-Tops or a sunroof of somesort if your worried about that, but as long as you keep the targa top on when you feel like "drifting" or if you just want good handling then you won't lose much, then you can cruise with it off when you don't plan on needing the extra stability

the old thread had some suggestions about where to find out about it I think

You can also grow a mullet and let it flap in the breeze created by your t-tops....

I can't believe you actually pondered putting a targa top on your 240.
