New 03 Civic EX... What to do first????

Hello and thanks for viewing my "thread"
I'm new here and new to Honda tuning
So to make this quick what is among the first things I should do to improve performance. Spending money won't really be a problem I just need some direction and recomendations for products. I'm not worried about voiding my warranty but would like to avoid it for a while. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

first off do you care about your warentee? cause if you do then nothing comes first. until the warentee is done u really cant do much. stupid 7th gen civics always have the srs light problem as well so if you get neons or indiglo guages ur srs light is gonna be on. i know a few people with this problem.

You can do anything in front of the throttle body, (intake) and anything after the Cat converter (exhasut) and you won't void the warranty. Suspension mods (springs, shocks) void the warranty. So basically intake and headers, and thats all you can do before voiding the warranty

The same does not apply everywhere. I have a friend that's a technician at Honda and I've even asked other dealers in WA. They said that if the damage that happens to the car is caused by the aftermarket part, the warranty will not cover it. Like if you have a CAI and hydrolock they can't cover damages. Just bolting the part on will not void the warranty. I suggest checking with your local dealer before giving up any chance to modify.

I worked for Honda & worked on many modified cars still under warranty. 1 guy had tons of work, popped the motor & Honda still covered it. He was lucky no inspectors was called or his warranty would have been cancelled. Like B16EJ1 said if the arftermarket part causes a problem, then no warranty coverage for that repair. If a repair under warranty is done & aftermarket parts need to be removed & re-installed, the customer will pay the labor charge for those items. What ever you do change, you loose the warranty on those items. 1 guy sucked a chunk of his intake in the motors & caused all sorts of damage. His warranty was voided after a 10hr tear down, he was left with 10hr labor charge, tow bills, & got the car back in pieces.

Like ESP said stay away from neon lights, even a cell phone left on the p/s may cause the SRS light come on. There are many senors in the seats & any electrical deveices may play haywire with the system.

I say go with a suspension upgrade 1st.

Thanks for the advice

I guess I'm not really worried about my warranty.
I figure I'll just save my money for the time being and get a super charger.
With that being said do any of you know anything about super charger brands or super chargers VS turbos?
It just seems like you'll get more bang for your buck if you save up 3 or 4 thousand dollars and just be done with it.

seen one turbo kit but it aint cheap. havent seen any superchargers for the 1.7 liter yet. and when they come out they not gonna be cheap either. thats why i wouldnt buy a brand new car if you are gonna mod it cause all the stuff is to expensive.
