Lightbulb As*umptionz

Here's a thought professor...Did it ever occur to you that my accord is a hobby? My 93 isnt an everyday driver, the 01' Monte Carlo SS is...following so far, ASSumptions? I just got the 93 from an old lady - a teacher from Santa Ana, CA. Engine is pretty good - only 84K, but Im opting for the ever popular Prelude engine with a complete GReddy turbo kit and possibly MagnaFlow underneath for starters. Havent quite decided yet...maybe you can help...what would you and your sheltered suburban, shit your pants in the ghetto headbanger friends do to the car first?

First off, I just wanna say I'm not trying to be a dick but if it were me, I would sell the 93' and save up a little to buy a 94+. In my opinion, there isn't much you can do to make a 93' look cool. If you wanna roll on dubs, hook yourself up with an old school Impala or something.

Thumbs down no fun

You're no fun! And the 94 rear end makes me want to puke all over that pretty white Ac in your picture...Im bent on making this boxy looking thing look at least somewhat cool....a few have done it..i.e saw pics of a 93 with massive mods such as h22 and custom benzo tails to name a few...with a little imagination Im confident that I can pull it off.

I used to own an 89 Accord. It had 300K miles and never smoked. Accords are the shit, i'd trade my civic for an accord any day.

I have 18's and I can't turn all the way in either direction, bigger rims are a freaking head ache. Its either raised with good camber or lowered with crazy stupid camber.

hey i agree if your hobby includes puttin 20s on older cars, good for you.. but, i do have a questions for you: you wanna run a h22 with turbo, expensive but very fast, so why would you wanna ruin all that power with some 20's , yeah you could do some mods to make the twinkies fit, but ou would have to run like 185 series tire or some bullshit, an with all that power an no tread u would peel at every light, if you want all that speed please think every aspect of it thru, an dont go with the 20's, but if you insist on the twenties dont bother with the power upgrades

just my .02

i am all about the show scene, but turbo h22 is too much, do the swap and get the show points, but take that money that you wanna spend on the turbo and redo the interior or something, if you wanna turbo and h22, then buy an eg hatch and turbo that. also my .02 cents.

you can only get so many points in one catagory in a car show. people w/ a 10,000 paint job and no engine or interior on stock rims isn't gonna win shit. you need to be the total package, remember this when building a show car. a show car needs to be a weekend racer, a db drag car, have a sick interior and rims that would put in on the cover of lowrider euro. so if you are building a show car, spend ur money wisely.
