HELP how can i get these to fit!!!

hi.
i just bought 16 inche chrome niche runner for my 99 ford ranger 4x2. the back went on fine but when i put the fron on they dont go all the way on and have like a 1/4 inch gap. i took them to many shops and they said they think there for a fwd car . everyone said i may use spacers but no tire shops around here deal with them. so i need to konw what i need to do to get these on.ive been trying to figure it out for a while and im desperate so i thought id ask you guys. if spacers will work i dont know what to get so if you know help me out cuase i want these on my truck. thanks
