Still insisting? What about the driver's names on the rear quater windows and linelTEX decals on the top of the windscreen? Again no problem, except your insistance everything is 100%.

Really I don't understand how you can miss obvious stuff like that, then turn arround and say the Heller/Airfix Xsara is "really inaccurate". To my eye the basic body shape of the Xsara is pretty good. Front and rear bumpers are a bit out, with no night stage turn light covers and rear boot overhand is a bit shallow. What else is wrong?

whew... again I STRESS that i never said anything about car accuracy... only the mud effect.... and i did delete the post you quoted after the pic you posted of the actual car... i will never build another Rally again...thank you. please actually read my post and you will see i clearly said " i went through great lenght to replicate authentic mud splatter". i never used the word authentic in any other context. if i did please let me know. and this is my post for the Modena anyhow i just had a change of plan. so ill gladly debate this in another forum. AGAIN never did i say the car was authentic... only mud pattern... "wheres the beef" i thought i already made myself very clear on this in past post... this is a Diorama car... period

Looks great, the flocking is really well done, how'd you do the flocking anyway is it a piece of fabric or actual flocking? What colour did you paint the exterior? Please don't say red!

the interior was flocked with Detail Master Dark Gray flocking. I masked off the center console, rear firewall, and kick plates then flocked the rest. the car is not Red, dont worry, its Model Masters Acryl Italian Red HEHEHEHE sorry, im a Ferrari freak so i always do my first build in this color. but i have already started 2 others, one will be Yellow, and the other wil be Alclad II Aluminum. then i will move onto the Spyder.....

Headlights look okay in size, only very simplified in reflector pattern, If anything the rear is too wide, but most kit manufacturers do that for scale effect.

Defensive? I'm trying not to attack you, but it is difficult.

What ever mate. Fact is when I mentioned that some decals were missing (not that it matters a toss) you said they were all in place. I can't understand why you would you say that when it is obviously untrue - did you think I would lie about such a thing? I really don't care one way or another or want to turn this into a court case but why make stuff up?

Similarly using all that thoretical crap to explain why your mud pattern is so 'authentic'. Again you are just making things up, there is no authenticity just an attempt to capture a 'feel' despite the facts. perhaps you should invest in a dictionary. True this is the internet and you can pretend to be who and whatever you want, but don't have a tiff when you get called to account.

If you want to talk about your Modena fine, that is the title of the thread.

thats a good idea... i airbrush mostly Acryllic.... could you recommend a white to use? perhaps a Pearl White? also i dont use spray can much so would need to be a bottle paint. i had also thought about a Metallic Green like the one i mixed for my Golf in my "freakmechs sample works post" on page 2 or 3.

RallyRaider... you win.... your top dog... i did make it up... ive never researched mud patterns or used a protractor for such details and the war veteran modellers i consulted dont exist... in fact... this isnt my model... and the 8 decals (i just checked) "they" didnt use are most important for an envviromentally realistic model and you shouldnt worry about my models anyhow cus obviously i dont know anything about modelling. plus i lie and if you read my other post on the car models forum youll see there all false help and information. im glad youve exposed this before i damaged anybody elses modelling. this will be my last comment as someone has asked me about the Modena which isnt mine either but i like to be "popular" among modellers cus they get so much pussy. girls love guys with paint on there clothes and CA on there fingers and thats why im creating this whole front. g'day

Hmm... I keep checking but still no dummy spit smiley. With newbies acting like this we need one.
