97 5 SPD Maxima w/MODS vs. V6 Mustang

1997 Nissan Maxima 5 Spd. w/MODS vs. 99 V6 Ford Mustang Convertible

I live in Mustang Land. Any given day you can see any model, or color. And it does'nt matter whats under the hood, its a sports car, its a Mustang, and they are all ready to prove it ! Thats the mentality anyways, and thats fine by me.

This 50+ year old man with his grandson pulled up to me at a light. They were in an older v6 convertible (not really sure on the exact year model). The Stang did not appear to be in that great of shape.

My Maxima is lowered but still very much a sleeper in its appearance. The guy kept looking over, reving up his stang and trying to power brake or something ? Who knows..! His car would pump up like a " LIZARD, doing somekind of ritualistic mating technique " and then ease down when he let off the gas ! He continued this behavior as I waited patiently.

Im looking over thinking," Is this guy serious?" And why does he keep looking at his grandson smiling, like: Im going to teach little Johnny how to race and win in pure AMERICAN MUSCLE !

Thats also fine by me, but the guy is in a tired v6, that hasnt seen a bath in years. This is no GT, or Cobra, and its not a V8. Im not backing down, I call his bluff !

Unable to refuse this guy a run.. the light switched green... I tore out of 1st, jerked her in 2nd ( intake screaming, wheels chirping ) and blitzed off down the road ! In the process I blew the doors and dirt off this guys Mustang. It was total destruction and im sure they got a face full of exhaust ( had the top down in the stang) ! And I just let up in 3rd, because im 4 or 5 car lengths ahead of the guy, maybe more !

Mismatch City in Mustang Land

Things that continue to crack me up :

What was that old dude thinking after he got owned ? And what about poor Johnny? "Did, we win Grandpa?" No Johnny, that guy just handed us our white butts ! But he was in a Maxima Grandpa, thats not even a sports car like ours? Sit back Johnny and Shut up ! !

It was a funny story but a total waste of gas, V6 Mustangs are (SAS) slow as sh*t and to top it off it was a convertible which is heavier than other models.

Nice kill though, he deserved to be put in his place, I hate some of them Stangers they're as worse as the Ricers here in town.
