2jz or sr20dett engine swap

is it possible to put a 2jz or sr20dett into a 3000GT base model.

with a bigace bankroll.

i'm saying no on this one, at least the 2jz, simply because of the length of the motor, as the front end of your car is pretty short (the engine bay)
you'd have a motor practically under your dash to get it to fit...

consider that you'd be completely converting your car to rwd as well, which means a new trans tunnel, new rear suspension/axle...

have fun...

it'd be cheaper to buy a 240 or supra...

you can swap a 3.5l out of a montero just swap the heads and some custom waterpump stuff and that would be alot cheaper

Angry i say no

Uhh dude just get the VR-4 swap instead, you no it'll fit because it's the same car!!! plus do you really wanna be driving around a mitsubishi with a toyota or nissan engine, keep it in the make, like if you dont want a VR-4 engine which is basically the same thing as a 2JZ but mitsibushi then get a 4G63 ive seen millions of those with 700 and 800 HP, just keep it in the make.
