Well, I went and bought a 38.1mm Hole saw today, so I'll mark a circle on the panel, cut the vinyl away with an exacto, and then drill through the plastic with the hole saw. Should be easy.

The tweeters are only 11/16 deep, so I shouldn't have any clearance issues... I'll post pics when they're installed.

Yea.. best way is to just drill some custom hole spots for your tweeters. Rules you should go buy is no more than 6 inches from its component speaker, and best to be near ear level. Thats for optimal frequency pick up by human ears. Im studying for my MECP test, so i picked up on some useful tips. I think the best way to set it up is amps under the seat, cross overs in the doors, and tweeters near your side view mirrors.

Yeah tweeters give a better sound reflected off the windscreen. Mount them near ur a-pillar facing the glass.

All i did for mine was get the hole saw bit, and drilled, would have been a little smarter if i would have actually planned the spots, but no i just drilled, still turned out good, they are almost in the exact same spot. There was no need to use an exacto knife to cut the vinyl before i cut, still left a little extra when i used the drill for it to look good. I would get a pic for ya, but too tired, its on the TLD site i think. And i did mount them right in front of the door handles.
