Anyway, I think the m roadster would have the upper hand in any situation, road course or drag. Torque is a nice advantage. I would much rather have an s2000 though. The roadcourse race would be nice to watch, I'm not so sure now about the m winning on a roadcourse, who knows. Depends on what track too.

:apuke: people comparing a Honda to a BMW?
Why don't we compare chinese food to a fine dinner at a gourmet restaurant? :apuke:

considering that both cars are what would be considered fine dining, we are pretty even.

why not just compare, not complain?

if you've never been to an upscale chinese dining establishment, don't talk.

Seriously. The S2000 is quality. So is the Beamer. Plus, its Japanese food, and sushi bars are expensive as hell..

The S2000 could have impressed me a bit more if they could have gotten 200 lbs/ft of torque. Making it rev to 10,000 is a gimmick to make the car seem like some ultra sportscar.
The MRoadster is more of a heavy, street luxuryous roadster, while the Homda is much lighter and tumed for the race track.

that's a bit better than trying to say they're not the same, and not comparable.

both companies have their strong points.

honda's is building high rev motors. bmw builds torque monsters.

these cars display that perfectly

I have been in both and have to say the M-roadster would take it off the line but the S2000 has a higher power band and has less weight. The top speed probably would make the S2000 the winner. I think both cars are 240ish HP.

It would be a good race though!
