Question my new stang

hello all .... just bought a new mustang gt .... ive had experience with civics and other imports but this is my first domestic ...

still completely stock ... just got it from the dealer and taking any suggestions i can get ...

ive been thinking off putting in a turbo kit:

4.6 Liter SOHC (16 Valve) 99-03 Mustang GT 375-800 Horsepower Street / Strip Kit. V-Band Clamps & Ball Joints for LEAK FREE operation. Tial Wastegate,. 3 core Air/Air intercooler. 42lbs injectors, Mass Air Meter, 03 Cobra Fuel Pump Assy., D&D Tubular K-Member, A-Arms & Coil Over Conversion & Auto Logic ECM Chip.

that with a PT88 4 Bolt mid 8-sec turbo head unit

but i really need to bring up my hp a lot before putting any of that stuff in

plz reply ... all suggestions welcome

thnx inb advance
Peter

Adding horsepower to the 4.6 SOHC engines without going to forced induction is a waste IMHO. Many people spend a lot of money just to get another 30-40hp when they could have easily taken that money and gone to forced induction for just a thousand or two more.

My advice would be to maybe add some headers, X pipe, catback, and then go forced induction. The Bullitt intake would also be an excellent add on as it'll give you easily another 20rwhp on a forced induction setup over the stock intake.

You can also have the heads ported for a little more flow, and there are cams available for it, but then again, for the power you're going to gain, I don't think they're a good cost effective suggestion.
