new stang?

i dont see how all you people have not liked the mustang and now all of the sudden...poof...you like it. i guess you dont see the resemblemce between the first mustangs produced and the new concept. whats the deal. the new concept looks awesome because they are bring back the retro look with the whole big front end, hood scoops, even the gas cap on the back. the look so similar, its uncanny.

But it still wont ever be the same. Im 17, and so far ive owned a 79 Mustang Ghia, and a 1965 Mustang Coupe.. the new car may be trying to remind people of the older ones, but It still wont be the same. The interior of the concept looks like an alien shuttle controls... and the backend is horrible. Seriously, I think it's turning into a Sport Compact Car, instead of them making it live up to the Muscle Car legend. :o

Not sure who your saying does not like the new design? Most mustang people like the new design, with the exception of the interior, and thats because it looks like cheap junk. But, since the car is just a prototype the interior will probably go.

I have a feeling that a lot of things will change by 2005 compaired to the concept! In the latest issue of MM&FF there's spy shots of the 2005 mustang. The car is all covered up to hide the lines and such, but from what I can tell, the rear tail lights look a lot different then the concept pics.

the rear tail lights

look like they have some similarity to the current 01-03 cobras.
