How many are going to buy the New Stang

I am wondering here how many people are planning to buy the 05' Stang i know i would if i was older but my dad wants to get the GT hopefully in Yellow if they have it and convertible tell me what you would want

That just pisses me right off!! Any car under $45000!

I am workin my ass off for a new car, scrapin away for $10000, and your dad is gonna give you a $45000 car. Guess you must be a pretty amazing son, cuz if I had that kind of money, I would never give my son something like that. I'd make him work for it, just like I'm workin my ass off.

And an answer to your question roadster2, yes i would buy the new stang, but it would not be my number one choice.

IMO, i think the '05 mustang is the most embarassing thing ever. I really hate it because it is a disgrace to the original muscle aspect of mustangs. I mean it comes with 20s for christ sake! it looks hideous too, ford has totally ruined the mustang. i plan on sticking with the '03 and older stangs forever! lol just my .02

Wow, I feel completely the opposite! I think the new mustang looks great from the concept PICS I have seen. Remember that the real version will differ from the concept PICS that are floating around on the net. Not the mention the DEW chassis will be a far better improvement over the current platform. If I had the cash I would definitely be buying on when they hit the showroom floor. I think I'll wait a few years and grab a slightly used one at a better price.

Don't know why everybody seems to expect the real 2005 Mustang to be the concept car?

It's not going to be the concept car. Most of the parts on the concept car will never find their way onto the real production model, which nobody should expect to see much of until the end of this year.

Is the 2005 Mustang going to be reliable? Probably not. Ford hasn't released an all new, good, reliable platform since the mid 1990s for the American segment.

Alright GTStandard the Mustang wil not have 20" wheels thats just in concept form the real one will hav 16''s for the Base, 17''s for the GT optional 18" also ,and the Cobra will get 18" and Unit5302 the only thing that will change from the concpt to production is the engine and the Hatch in the back and dont forget the wheels thats all that will be changed

I want to get a 2006 Cobra but I will probably wait til about 2008, when I come close to paying of the LS.

i realize the concept will not look the same as the production vehicle. but it will not be 100% different, and IMO no matter how much the concept is changed it will still be an embarrassment to the original muscle car.

FordJay16 i agree with you about the Disgraceof the 80's mustang but they brought some good stuff with that style. we got the 5.0 and the Cobra all though the 5.0 is gone (IT MAY COME BACK)(THERE IS A CRATE ENGINE 5.0 RIGHT NOW) and just look at the Cobra finally keping up with Corvettes and Old Vipers so there is some good with the old Fox Style Stangs
