"72 olds cutlass corvertable

so i picked up a revell cutlass last friday and its coming together great!. i need to get toothpicks and a few other things so i can get it detailed.

wheels, stripped teh chrome and painted them silver aluminum, i believe there 17" wheels


interior is a factory 2 tone black/white. my dad is a oldsmobile expert so hes helping me withe the factory parts. the kit comes with woodgrain for teh dash and consol, and doors but im not a woodgrain fan so its painted black.


motor, olds rocket 350 with a few mods.. block/intake/water pump is painted to match period correct olds engine colors. aluminum heads, MSD distributer and coil, and the high performance aircleaner intake. and a fram oil filter haha
no detail yet still need some tooth picks lol


the kit comes with a automatic, and a 4sp, a open diff and a posi.. im using teh W-27 package, whick is a posi-trac, and im using teh 4sp. also has a aluminum driveshaft (not installed in these pics)


engine bay almost done, i have teh A/C lines and intake on it now just needs detailed


interior almost done, aftermarket steering wheel, needs the door pannels detailed along with dash..


the body is gloss black, and im using white rally stripes, ill take pics with teh stripes and other badges on it..

thanks, just shot the mirrors, sun visors and grill center piece black earlier.. hopefully lay teh stripes today also.. im not teh best at graphics haha.. but i want to make it right cuz im building this for my dad, along with a "72 trans am

Try taking pictures outside on a sunny day. They will come out a lot better. That was my first thing i learned a long time ago, without a decent light setup for backlight. Keep it up.

thanks, its been storming off and on for teh past 3 days so i cant take outside pics right now haha
