Hypothetical Question

Ok, lets assume for a few moments, as painful as it may be, that i WONT find a 300zx that i want/is in good condition/do i really need reasons to be hypothetical!?

ok, what would you guys suggest as a car for me.....

Requirements:

1. Has to be in a decent price range, im in high school and have a job that pays 6.50/hr

2. Has to be tunable to some degree with a fair amount of aftermarket support

3. Has to be reliable

Ok, these arent required, but considerations:

1. AWD or RWD preferably not FWD

2. Im tall, bout 6 feet, so, something roomy

3. Not TOO big

4. I wanna be able to do some AutoX or some kind of amateur motorsport, maybe, if i build it up good enough.

ok, thanks everybody

If you can afford it,get a WRX,excellent tuneability and versatility.

If you can't? Try and find a '90-ish model Nissan 240SX or 180SX and do an SR20DET conversion. Excellent tuneability there and they are pretty reliable as well, even modded.

And if not either of those, maybe an older Scooby 2.5RS and throw on an HKS turbo kit.

Mustang...if you don't mind domestics

-Huge aftermarket
-RWD
-5-speed
-can be built to Auto-X or Drag
-distinctive sound
-as long as you have money, you can have as much power as you want
-reliable (I don't care what anybody else says... )

The above points can also be applied for Camaro's and Firebirds.
