whats the diff
i am want to by a 98 or 99 mitsubishi eclipse but i dont know what is the difference bettween the spyder,gs,and gs-t and the other kinds of options

the sypder is a convertable, u can getta gs-t spyder and gs / rs syder i belive
GS is a nonturbo, kinda like the luxury version RS is alos non turbo, a downgraded version of the GS GST >>> turbo'd GS GSX >>> trubo'd GS with All Wheel Drive if im wrong please correct me, but thats what i know about the differences in trimand models

i dont think you can get an RS spyder but overall that is correct, was leather interior an option for GS? i never thought of them as lux. as gsx with options, but maybe you could have gotten everything the gsx could?

no the only non turbo spyder that you can get is the GS, and the only time i have seen leather in a GS is in the spyder.

i was just on www.autotrader.com and if you look up a GS and go to the model info it says in there that it has the leather seating, so there is the answer to that question! although i have never seen it but sure...

Also:
The gst and gsx have the 2.0 4g63 engine. The gs has the 2.0 420a engine. I also thing the spyder gst is a 2.4 4g63. Correct me if I am wrong.
