whats the diff in headers?

what areas are hp/torque gained by a 4-2-1 or a 4-1??

also, what are some mods that can be done to a car with automatic, to increase performance? if it matters i have a 91 accord. all i have is a muffler, race cat and a shortram intake. i have a cai sitting in the garage but im too damn lazy to drill and take the bumper off.

The 4-1 header is designed to give you power in the very high rpm range. The 4-2-1 header is designed to give you power in the low-medium rpm range, which is much more usefull on the street. If you bought a 4-1 header, your stock motor in your application would be nearly redlined before you noticed some or any of the benefits. Go with the 4-2-1.

As far as improving the performance of a car with an auto-tranny, look into buying a level 10 torque converter. I'm not sure if they make one for your car, but if they do it would be a big improvement. I'm not sure where to purchase one, but I'm sure someone will reply to this post with a link.

ok... now is there any difference between ceramic coated and chrome? ive looked around in the past, and even on ebay, the dc 4-2-1 seems to be what im seeing the most of. but is one of the two going to produce less heat or is it just for visual affects?

the ceramic coated will run a little cooler
plus the ceramic is much cheaper.
however, the chrome will probably keep its
finish longer
