Just drive around normally for a little while- It will calibrate itself. I have installed 7 Mirrors for other people plus 2in my own cars. Any other questions about these just ask! |

Re: rearview mirror compass problem
I had plugged my mirror in and the direction popped up so I set it to 7(my region) and then SE popped when I was facing West. The next day I turned my truck on and every possible light was glowing looked like 100 with X's in it and the C, F letters were showing as well. Also there is a 7 point wiring harness with 3 wires in it. There is a small wiring harness that goes somewhere. I do not see a plug for it anywhere. The tint still works.
Thanks, Brandon |

Re: rearview mirror compass problem
The "extra" wire harness hanging out of the back of the mirror should be plugged into the compass module that is clipped on to the base of the mirror stem. This is why your display has all its segments lit. I hope you didn't purchase this mirror with the module missing. It is not available separately. All the display segments are lit when the compass module is unplugged or damaged. Hope it works out.

Re: rearview mirror compass problem
I got it to work. The smaller wiring harness goes through the back along side of the main harness and plugs into the circuit board inside.
Thanks |
