rear view mirror compass problem

hey everyone,
i have a problem with my digital compass on the rear view. it seems that gm uses a small piece of tinted glass on the inside of the mirror to keep the compass from being to bright, the problem i am having is that the piece of glass has seemed to come unglued and has fallen halfway down so some of the display is real bright and the other half is normal. does anybody know how to take apart the mirror and fix whats inside.
